Flowerfreaks, we also attended the Vet Stadium and it was miserable. The last time we went to one I laid my Bible beside me on another seat and when I picked it up it literally burned my finger it was so hot. We refused to go there after that and would travel to Hampton, VA to go to an indoor one with air conditioning. That place was so disgusting and it was always hot and humid. You would see people laying on blankets out in the hall on the dirty floors where football fans would urinate When they got drunk. I am so glad I will never have to attend another one. The last one we went to was in Reading, PA two years ago, my husband and I walked out early Friday and never went back.

A Warning for anyone with Fibromyalgia or CFS
by LisaRose ini had been hearing about a food supplement that has shown to be a promising therapy for fibromyalgia or chronic fatique syndrome, a food supplement called d ribose.
i tried it and was impressed with the results, so i have been taking it for the last three months.
unfortunately during this time i have also had intestinal issues, which have gotten progressively worse, to the point it was debilitating, also nausea, dizziness and a mild headache.

I agree with the bath salts and lavender oil. When the pain is bad I will get into our tub with the jets and put that in and it does help a lot. I use to get a massage every week which really helped but I cut back on that. I am going to research the product you mentioned. I do see a natural doctor and he has given me a few things that help and I also see a pain management doctor. I tried the TENS machine but it didn't seem to work.

They are a bunch of hypocrites! The GB live in expensive high rise apartments, drive fancy cars, wear nice clothing, most have a number of pieces of jewelry they wear, food paid for, free medical, vacations paid for and green handshakes, etc. yet many of these people who live in third world countries have very little and sometimes can't even eat everyday. How dare they put them down for trying to take care of their family any way they legally can. They truly make me sick with their nonscense.
I agree with others that the WT$ will never give them the money to put food on their table or help them with basics needs.

Birthdays
by Laika ini had my first real birthday party yesterday.
call me an irredeemable pagan, but i was massively excited about this, the whole thing was very special, i got a little emotional and i think my friends must have found it a little strange but it was just nice to be creature worshipped.
when i was a child my parents always used to tell people i didn't miss out by not celebrating my birthday but i did miss out.

Happy Birthday Laika, I am glad you had a nice day. I was not a born in so I had birthdays until I was 25 but my husband was a born in and he too missed out on them and was happy he could finally have one.

I have never heard of Ribose. I have suffered with it for years and it has gotten a little better over time but there are days when the pain will not get under control and it hurts to even touch those areas. I agree with BOTR about needing more women as doctors to address women's health issues. I too ignore the naysayers who are not doctors and do not do the research or see what we actually go through. I believe diet and stress can make it much worse with sugar and GMO's being the worst things for it. I have noticed that once I walked away from the JW's mine got a little better so the stress was making it much worse.

US Supreme Court: Hobby Lobby wins we lose
by designs inthe old guys sided with hobby lobby today in denying birth control coverage to its female employees based on the owners religious views.
intact- is viagra for the guys.
funny how the far right evangelical owners of hobby lobby didn't want to touch that one.... read judge ginburg's scathing counter argument and opinion.. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/13pdf/13-354_olp1.pdf.

I find this interesting because for years I was in Human Resource and also accounting and was responsible for putting together health insurance packages for a few different companies I worked for. We never went through the policies and picked out portions we thought were immoral and excluded coverage. Never once did the owners of the company say we don't want to exclude birth control we don't agree with. One of my bosses was raised as a Scientologist and he never excluded anti depressants or other things the Scientologists are against. With the company my husband and I own it never even crossed our minds when we were JW's to put an exclusion in for blood transfusions, abortions etc. I feel that this has gone too far and it is another example of big corporations running the government.

She is Going to Talk to the Elders About My Questions...What Should I Expect?
by HeyThere inso one of my in-laws, a born in dub, started asking me questions about the issues i am having with the religion.
so i told her, rather carefully, how i discovered all the child pedophile cases, went over some of the case details, explained it is occurring all over the world, so isn't just some random misunderstanding, but is widespread hiding of child sex u all abuse.
she was horrified.

HeyThere, you do not have to talk to them. They only have control over you if you give it to them. You are merely a bible study unless you are a non baptized publisher then they can make an announcement. A lot depends on the body of elder you have. There are some who have some brains and are loving but others who just love to control and throw their weight around. If I were in your place and they wanted to talk to you I would refuse. Set boundaries.
